Burnpool is musically one of the most explosive bands to hit the music scene in sometime now. Powerful, hard hitting songs with a real depth in their lyrics and song writing style combined with an edgy hard rock sound and somewhat southern rock tinged vocal style. The perfect mix of a modern hard rock sound and style with a old school no bullshit theory and approach to live performance and showmanship.

Burnpool is made up of veteran rockers vocalist/guitarist C'vey (Clab) Rauland and guitarist Stephen James, formerly of the band and national recording artist Medicine Man that made their presence known with a debut self titled release in the late 90s that featured such songs as Comes Around Goes Around, Rainmaker, and acoustic ballad Carolanne. They followed up with a national tour through 2002.

Rauland recorded that release with well known and respected musician/Grammy Nominee Jon Butcher at the helm of production and management. Medicine Man was also featured on the CBS pilot (SHOW TIME AT THE BEACH) hosted by comedian/producer Larry Stevens. In short, Burnpool is a band that you don't want to miss!

Burnpool is currently in the studio working on their debut release for the coming year. They plan on setting up local and regional dates, and hopefully more! Rauland says they will be including songs from the Medicine Man release as well as some good old covers both modern and classic that they enjoy as music fans them selves. He stated in an interview with RSM, "we enjoy playing period! Our own stuff as much as material from the bands that we admire. We are not caught up in that whole rock star saga. We just wanna play every where we can and have as much fun as humanly possible!"
